The organization commends the New Dawn Government and the Teaching Service Commission Chair, Madam Chimuka, for addressing the concerns raised by a highly qualified primary school teacher with a degree. In the past, these concerns were not given adequate attention or response by previous governments.

The organization also expresses gratitude to its National Office, particularly Executive Director Dr. Aaron Chansa, for their strong support of the primary school teacher in this area.

The National Action for Quality Education in Zambia (NAQEZ) has issued a press statement regarding the need for quality education in Lukulu District, Western Province.

The statement emphasizes the importance of providing equal opportunities and recognition for primary school teachers, particularly in terms of salary scales.

NAQEZ urges the government to take action and ensure that Headteachers and Deputy Headteachers receive the same pay, as this is crucial for addressing the issue of recognition in the education sector.

The statement highlights the government’s dedication, under the leadership of President Hakainde Hichilema, to enhancing primary education and promoting overall quality education in the country. This recognition of the importance of primary education signifies a significant step towards the development and advancement of education in Zambia.

The statement was issued by Simui Bornface Namunji, Deputy Provincial Coordinator, and was obtained by Melo Media.
