The corruption within the management of the Farmer Input Support Programme (FISP) has been brought to light in Southern Province.
It has been revealed that agriculture camp officers and cooperative chairpersons are working together to select children as beneficiaries and then keeping the money for themselves.
Provincial Minister Credo Nanjuwa has spoken out about this issue, stating that some agriculture camp officers are collaborating with zone chairpersons to charge farmers insurance fees of K150, which they are pocketing.
