The Provincial Administration – Northern Province is working hard to rooting out Structural Barriers to Social and Economic Development. This is why we have been collaborating with various stakeholders to end Gender Based Violence and promoting Economic Strengthening at household level. @followers
In the last five years, the Province has been working with a Consortium of Non State Actors under the Project called Natwampane with funding from European Union. This Project has been focusing on fighting Sexual Gender Based Violence (SGBV) and Economic Strengthening among the Survivors of SGBV. This Project is Closing Out in December, 2023.
Yesterday, the Provincial Administration hosted the USAID Project Team and Natwampane Joint Meeting. The USAID funded Project is coming into the Province to support government and sustain some of the activities which have been carried out by Natwampane Project.
