The Minister of Transport and Logistics, Frank Tayali, has issued a warning to the Online Taxi Drivers Association, cautioning them against any form of harassment towards their members.

The Online Taxi Drivers Association has been cautioned against mistreating its own members. In response to reports of harassment, Mr. Tayali has urged law enforcement officials to take action and arrest those responsible for targeting drivers who operate branded online taxis.

The Ministry in charge of transportation has issued a warning to the Online Taxi Drivers Association, cautioning them against harassing their own members. The Ministry has been working on developing regulations to govern the operations of online taxis, but for the time being, they have stated that branded online taxis should be allowed to operate without any disruptions.

The Online Taxi Drivers Association has been cautioned against harassing its own members. This warning came in response to a statement released by the Online Taxis Association of Zambia, which called for a shutdown of the e-hailing app starting on Monday. The Association accused online taxis of neglecting their grievances. Mr. Tayali, however, advised against such actions, emphasizing the importance of constructive dialogue to resolve any issues.

The Online Taxi Drivers Association has been cautioned against mistreating its members. Despite the association’s plans to shut down operations, a recent survey in Lusaka showed that Yango, an online taxi service, continued to receive orders from customers without any disruption.
