In preparation for the 2023 Muchinga Exposition (Expo), the Road Development Agency (RDA) in Muchinga Province has begun construction on access roads to various tourism sites. This initiative by the government aims to boost tourism infrastructure in the region and make it easier for visitors to access the beautiful sites that Muchinga has to offer. With these improvements, Muchinga Province hopes to attract even more tourists and showcase the unique culture and natural beauty of the area.

Infrastructure development in Muchinga Province is set to boost tourism with ongoing road works from the T2 Junction to Chipoma Falls, covering a distance of approximately 7 kilometres. The project aims to improve access to the popular tourist destination and enhance the overall tourism experience in the region.

Muchinga Province is investing in its tourism infrastructure by improving access roads. The project will involve clearing and grubbing, road formation, gravelling, installation of culverts, and expanding the existing road from 2 meters to 5.5 meters wide. These upgrades will make it easier for tourists to access the province’s attractions and boost the local economy.

This project is expected to benefit around 50 general workers and will help boost tourism in the area. Additionally, an expo is planned for October 2023, which will showcase the province’s attractions and further promote tourism.
