Zambia’s President Hakainde Hichilema to Meet French President Macron

Zambia’s President Hakainde Hichilema is set to meet with French President Macron after wrapping up his important meetings in Scotland. President Hichilema has departed for France to continue his diplomatic efforts and strengthen relationships with other nations.

Zambia’s President Hakainde Hichilema is set to meet with French President Macron, and he will be joined by his Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Minister, Stanley Kakubo, as well as the Finance and National Planning Minister of Zambia, Situmbeko Musokotwane.

During his visit to France, President Hakainde Hichilema of Zambia is scheduled to engage in important discussions with French President Emmanuel Macron. These high-level bilateral talks are expected to cover a range of topics and issues of mutual interest to both countries.

The upcoming meeting between Zambia’s President Hakainde Hichilema and French President Macron holds great significance in expediting Zambia’s debt restructuring process.

These high-level discussions are expected to focus on strengthening diplomatic ties and exploring opportunities for economic cooperation between the two countries. President Hichilema’s commitment to engaging with global partners highlights Zambia’s dedication to promoting international relations and fostering economic growth.

Prior to this meeting, President Hichilema gave a presentation at Heriot-Watt University and also met with Scotland’s First Minister, Humza Yousaf.

The meeting was held in private and focused on bilateral ties between Zambia and France.
