Well, Mr. Chitambala once played as “Martin Luther King” on a Zamtel Advert iya “I Have A Dream”.. I was inspired by the confidence he showed and all.
Fast forward.. Some 15 plus years ago, I met this man at Arcades (My role model actually) in person but while I was misbehaving.
Back then Arcades Shopping Mall was the chilling place… So as I was smoking ka Peter and ”soaking” some dopes with friends to gain some confidence to talk the chicks at Arcades, then he appeared! Ala bali nkalipile ba mudala aba.. He said what my friends and I were doing wasn’t cool and we are ruining our lives.. He spoke with anger and love mixed!
Actually that was my turning point.. That’s when I reduced on chills, balancing and everything that would destruct me from getting good grades pa grade 12. I became a better person and scored good marks pa G12.
Thanks to this man.. He played a role in my life that changed the narrative.. that’s why olo we blocked each other and bought me “simon” ya Ku local court for “deformation of character”.. I still have respect for him after I realized that he is that man in that Zamtel Ad.. No matter the shade thrown on social media at him I never take part! Because to me he remains a role model and a man that gave a different perspective on life. 🙏🏾
