The Citizens Economic Empowerment Commission (CEEC) has started the verification process for marketer booster loan applicants across the country.
CEEC Public Relation Manager Michelo Mukata said so far over 10,000 applicants have been verified on the Copperbelt Province while in Kabwe Central Province, the disbursement of the loans had started.
Mr Mukata has told ZNBC NEWS that the verification exercise that is being done country-wide is in collaboration with different key stakeholders such as local authorities.
He adds that the Commission is also working with two mobile money service providers who are verifying if the details submitted by applicants are corresponding with their mobile money details.
