Zambian High Commissioner to Malawi, Panji Kaunda said Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema mourns with Malawians during this time of devastation.
Kaunda symbolically presented the items to Minister of Health, Khumbize Kandodo Chiponda at Kamuzu International Airport.
Chiponda thanked the Zambian Government for what she said is a timely donation.
Some of the items include, Blankets, tents and kitchen utensils.
Apart from these essentials, the Zambian Government has also donated bags of Maize and beans that will arrive in the country in the next few days by road.
