The Anti-Corruption Commission has arrested and charged former Kabushi Constituency Parliamentarian Bowman Lusambo for being in possession of a single story four-bedroom house reasonably suspected to be proceeds of crime.
Mr. Bowman Lusambo of Lusaka’s Chamba Valley area has been charged with one count of being in possession of a property reasonably suspected to be proceeds of crime contrary to section 71 sub section (1) of the Forfeiture of Proceeds of Crime Act No. 19 of 2010.
Details are that on unknown dates but between 1st May 2015 and 31st December 2021 Bowman Lusambo jointly and whilst acting together with other persons unknown did possess property number F/609/E/44/B/9 comprising of a single story four-bedroom house and a guest wing located in Chamba Valley, property reasonably suspected of being proceeds of crime.
Mr. Lusambo has since been released on Bond and will appear in court soon.
