Mr. Kelvin Kamayoyo, Expo Advisor for Western Province has thanked Absa Bank Zambia, Managing Director, Mrs. Mizinga Melu and her management team for having come on board to support the Western Province Tourism, Trade and lnvestment Expo scheduled for 10th to 15th October, 2022 in Mongu. He said it was gratifying to note that Absa Bank has an SMEs credit finance package which will also be shared at the Expo and will significantly impact on home-grown entrepreneurs and boost start-up businesses.
Mr. Kamayoyo stated that the Western Province Tourism, Trade and Investment Expo will help home-grown entrepreneurs in Western Province to build production capacities in rice, beef and fish and exploit the regional niche markets especially the Angola, Botswana and Namibian markets.
Mr. Kamayoyo encouraged the manufacturing companies currently operating in other Provinces in the country to consider Western Province as a new preferred geographical Investment of choice and set up subsidiary factories in the Province in order to add value on the abundant natural resources.
