Losing our people is one of the hardest moments for any MP, the worst moments are when we lose a child. It’s a sinking feeling.
I remember receiving the call for the first time as a councillor, “We have lost him…”. The community spirit that helps mobilize to support a grieving family is extraordinary and one of the best parts of us, Ubuntu is real. Chawama is full of Ubuntu.
