BUSINESS tycoon James Ndambo, whose charity works in his hometown of Choma have sent tongues wagging, says he does not have any political ambitions whatsoever.
Mr Ndambo, who is domiciled in South Africa, has, through his charity My Home Town – Zambia, spent lavishly on various projects in Choma, with the latest being the two brand new Toyota Hilux vehicles and a quantum bus for the police in the district.
Of course, intrigue and focus is on the beauty pageant on Saturday which will see the winner of the Miss My Home Town walking away with a US$150,000 in cash prize and a brand new car.
“We do not have any political intentions whatsoever,” he said. “In fact, we are not interested.
