According to FAZ, The Zambia Women’s national team have been promised an amount of $21, 050 (K355, 797) each in bonuses should they win the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
This is a massive improvement in women’s football in our country.
The girls will receive a $1000 bonus for qualifying to AWCON in Morocco, this amount is set to be paid today before departure for Morocco.
A $3,000 per player will be paid for every win they record in the Group stage.
A $3500 per player will be paid for a win recorded in the Quarter-final.
A $4,000 per player will be paid for a winning the Semi-final.
A $5,000 per player will be paid for wining the Final.
