There is a tendency that lies in many humans when opportunity has been given to be privileged over certain things. This is when life has given us the least of our expectation. When we thought we could not be any better in future. The time we live on the mountain. Our life is high and everything about us is remarkably fine. The time where we can have anything as long as we want. We give ourselves profiles that tells and define our status.
Often are times where we get forget about the force of gravity, we tend to forget about the free fall principles. In certain moments, it is at this time that we tend to overlook and undervalue other people who have been accorded life just like us. We tend to think we are more important than others. Our minds are tuned to think life can never be better for other people except for us. I most cases our words are filled with demeaning statements, our minds are filled with pride and our talks are more inclined to self. At this time of life we think less of other people. Our actions are tellered towards our benefit. Indeed at this time humanity is not in us, but here is the thing.
It is always important to know that the same oxygen that you are breathing in, is the same as what the person you call a poor person breathes. This explains that humanity is the universal language that the creator has given to us for remembrance of how we are supposed to treat others.
It is a well known factor that we can all never be the same, the reality in diversity, like in an ecosystem we rely on one another. Imagine if we were the same, what will be of the world? Imagine if the world was all filled of Engineers, who will prepare the working environment for an engineer? Imagine if we were all pastors, who will return offering and tithe? Imagine if we were all Pharmacist, who would be cleaning our manufacturing laboratories? This is an evidence that, like an ecosystem, we all depend on one another. Here are a few things;
A doctor’s relevance is the presence of patients. A Pastor’s relevance is the presence of congregants, likewise, a teacher’s relevance is in learner’s availability. Life is funny on how it allows nature to rule the events. If we could view life from the spectrum of humanity then we could see the importance of each individual in our life.
Things change and tables change. The person you’re calling unreasonable maybe the most reasonable when things turn around. The church members you’re calling thieves because of tithe returning may be the dearest to God than self proclaimed God’s favorite. The junk you’re referring to might not have found an opportunity to be where you are, the unemployed you’re laughing at might not have crossed their time zones to cross over to employment.
Normalize being in good terms with everyone in your confine. Allow not pride to rule over you. Treat everyone as you would wish to be treated. Take others as humans as you are. Finally remember you’re all equal in the sight of God. If you’re privileged, remember the marginalized.
Let brotherly love continue.
