The Government of the Republic of Zambia wishes to apologise to members of the public for the error contained in the Programme for the First Memorial Service for His Excellency Dr. Kenneth David Kaunda, Founding Father and First President of the Republic of Zambia.

The error on the spelling for the name of the President of the Republic of Zambia, Mr. Hakainde Hichilema, is deeply regretted.

Members of the public are, however, advised that the error has since been corrected and that a revised Programme will be circulated to the invited guests at the Memorial Service tomorrow on Friday, 17th June, 2022 at the Anglican Cathedral of the Holy Cross.

Hon. Chushi Kasanda, MP
MINISTER OF INFORMATION AND MEDIA AND CHIEF GOVERNMENT SPOKESPERSON
